GOA Unlocks Tourism From Today
Goa a dream destination of the tourists opened to access the domestic tourism betwixt the Corona-virus pandemic. Tourists form all over the country can visit the place with few restrictions. Central government permits almost 250 hotels to restart operation.
Tourism director of Goa Menino D'Souza state that, the Central government has granted permission to re open the hotels for the tourists, there are certain SOP's that hotels must observe with. If we fell that the hotels are complied those norms, we give permission to such hotels. From today we allow the hotels to resume operation.
Almost 260 hotels has already applied and we will look into it. But the guidelines of the government is not only applicable to the hotels. The restrictions adopted by the state must also be applicable to the tourists.
The tourists must have COVID-19 test report. The visitors will be charged 2000 Rs, who have not gone through the Covid-19 test and it will be done by the state.
The hotels which has taken permission to operate has isolation facility, the guest must wait till they receive COVID-19 report.
The decision to restart the tourism operation in Goa is taken during the State Cabinet meeting Chaired by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
